Due to the immensely positive feedback we had gotten for Doom Under Ringgadebroen No. 2, we decided to once again get together with a group of musicians and artists, to try and realise an even larger-scaled event than the past two.
Only two weeks before the event was scheduled to happen though, with more than 300 people attending on the facebook event and all of the visual elements designed and ready, specifically for the dimensions of the bridge, we were slammed with the news that the council in Aarhus had suddenly commenced work on an unannounced road, that would cross the main concert-area, transforming the entire place.
We scrambled to find solutions and eventually ended up moving the concert, from Ringgadebroen, to a derelict electrician’s workshop/center in the middle of the city. Despite having very little time to adjust the concerts, we successfully executed the event in the new location, with roughly 400 people attending.
Acts taking part in the event were Sol from Aarhus, Ærkenbrand form Aarhus, Outer Nothingness from Copenhagen and Space Program from Aarhus who notably played his concert from a 4m deep hole in the floor, reverting the usual performer/crowd relationship.
